These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maui drives through and clinches with Bidden against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bidden.

Bidden misses with a hook to the ribs.
Bidden tries to throw a body punch but Maui avoids it by throwing Bidden back against the cage.
Maui throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Bidden is breathing heavily.
Maui lands a right hand.
The referee calls for Maui to work.
Maui lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bidden backwards.

It looks like Joe Bidden has been cut.
Maui lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bidden backwards.
Maui scores with a shot to the side of Bidden's head.
Maui throws a big uppercut that drops Bidden! More strikes from Maui and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bidden lies dazed against the cage as Maui celebrates with his cornermen!

A relieved looking Raykuza Maui thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
