Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Huima Huima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huima comes to the cage accompanied by Holy Diver. Erik Morales has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Huima Huima's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Huima misses.

Huima has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Huima there as he acknowledges the shot.
Huima moves in looking to clinch but Morales pushes him off.

and Morales counters with a right hand that sends Huima tumbling to the canvas! Can Morales finish him? He dives into Huima's guard looking to do just that!

Huima manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morales manages to get himself to full guard.
Oh Huima is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morales can do anything to dispel that myth.

Morales wants to stand but Huima is controlling the position.
Morales is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Huima wants to control from the top but Morales keeps moving.
Morales wants to stand and escape but Huima is having none of it.

Huima stands up and waves to Morales to follow him.

and Morales connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Huima feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A looping hook to the body misses from Morales. Huima does a little dance to reset his feet.
Morales throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Huima.

Huima is working to tighten is grip on Morales's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Morales has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Huima is really squeezing tight and eventually Morales passes out! Huima breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
