Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Arild Ringnes (ranked 3882 p4p, 5510 weight class) and Thom Tharrier (ranked 147 p4p, 180 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Tharrier pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ringnes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Tharrier tries a quick counter leg kick but Ringnes is wise to it.

We've been informed that Tharrier has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Ringnes fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Tharrier tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ringnes 's elbow.

Tharrier on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ringnes lands a front kick to the face, that drops Tharrier to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!

Ringnes knocks out Tharrier with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Ringnes before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Ringnes picks up the big W with a huge KO!
