The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Salvacion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Buut wants to control but Salvacion is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Salvacion content to control rather than advance.
Buut controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
No luck for Salvacion with that takedown attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Buut darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Buut's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Buut throws a strike but Salvacion rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Salvacion slaps away a takedown attempt from Buut, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Salvacion thinks about the counter body kick.
Buut closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Buut pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Walay Buut.
