Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chen Wangting (ranked 25123 p4p, 4573 weight class) and Bob Denero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wangting comes to the cage accompanied by Interceptor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wangting shoots for a takedown but Denero saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wangting looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Denero shoots in but Wangting avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Denero instigates a clinch.

Denero breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wangting doesn't manage to clinch there - Denero circles away.

Denero clinches with his opponent.
Wangting is pressed up against the cage. Denero has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wangting down to the mat. Wangting avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Chen Wangting has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Denero .

Denero stalks Wangting and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wangting's face. Wangting staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Chen Wangting has been cut.
Denero throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Denero has a takedown stuffed.
A quick step to the side and Wangting tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

The fight stays on the outside here - Wangting looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Denero closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wangting is trying to drag Denero to the mat but Denero just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Denero seems keen to control Wangting's posture.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Denero manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Denero has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wangting can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wangting stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wangting wants it to stay on the feet.

Wangting could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Denero is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wangting tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Denero controlling the pace for now.

Denero looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Denero is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wangting can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Bob Denero is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
