Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Shalashaska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Little Late!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Shalashaska.

We've been hearing reports that Shalashaska has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Shalashaska tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shalashaska has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Shalashaska is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Late has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Late!

Shalashaska has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Late can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Shalashaska will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Late can do anything to dispel that myth.
