The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Godoi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diaz has his foot on Godoi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Godoi works his way back into a safe position though.

Oh but Diaz is tightening it up a little... Godoi has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Godoi reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Godoi taps out! Nice BJJ there by Diaz!

Noel Diaz decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
