The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yonic takes one to the side of the head.
Souchon connects with a looping right hand.
Yonic throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Yonic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Souchon manages to avoid it.
Yonic tries to land a front kick but Souchon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Souchon scores with a hook to the body. Yonic takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Souchon.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Souchon takes a little break here. Yonic wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Souchon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A telegraphed right hand from Yonic misses the target.

Souchon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Souchon is looking to advance position but Yonic won't allow it.
