Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aace Zajac (ranked 4847 p4p, 6161 weight class) and Alair Conealy (ranked 567 p4p, 619 weight class). Alair Conealy will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aace Zajac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alair Conealy!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conealy shoots in for a double leg but Zajac sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Conealy dives in and grabs Zajac's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zajac pushes down on Conealy's head and hops out.
Zajac swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Conealy shoots and misses
and Zajac counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Aace Zajac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alair Conealy.
Conealy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Conealy clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conealy is trying to push Zajac away but Zajac has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Zajac gets control of Conealy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zajac will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Conealy is looking to stand up but Zajac won't let him.

Zajac wants to sweep but no luck.
Zajac doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Conealy trying to control but Zajac is working from the bottom.
Zajac is trying to control the position from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zajac is on top in guard.

Conealy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zajac. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Conealy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Conealy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zajac is one step ahead there.

Zajac postures up in Conealy's guard and throws a big left but Conealy blocks it.

Zajac lands a couple of digs.
Zajac controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Conealy keeping moving, preventing Zajac from controlling successfully.

It looks like Alair Conealy has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zajac connects with a couple of short punches.

That has opened up Alair Conealy's cut even more.
Zajac trying to control but Conealy is working from the bottom.

Zajac throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Zajac keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Conealy's head.

Conealy is rocked!

Alair Conealy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alair Conealy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A less than humble Aace Zajac misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
