The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan throws a leg kick that is checked

and Swas counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Swas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Swas controlling the action here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ryan tries to roll over but Swas keeps him under control.

Ryan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ryan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Swas scores with a couple of nice shots.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Swas is thwarting Ryan's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Swas content to control rather than advance.
Ryan is looking to escape.
Swas takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ryan tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Swas manages to move to mount!
Ryan squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Swas pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Swas throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Ryan has his hands clasped together but Swas breaks the hold and Ryan is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Swas!
