Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Van Lenden (ranked 3711 p4p, 4599 weight class) and Luigi Quintan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Lenden's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Zanger Rinus - Met Romana Op De Scooter . Luigi Quintan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dirk Van Lenden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luigi Quintan!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quintan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Van Lenden stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Van Lenden tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Quintan looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Van Lenden tries to clinch up.
Van Lenden drives through and clinches with Quintan against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Quintan throws an elbow but misses.
Van Lenden takes an elbow to the temple.
Nice body punch from Quintan - that landed with a thud.
Quintan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Quintan misses with a punch to the body.
Van Lenden doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Van Lenden wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Quintan has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Van Lenden gets control of Quintan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Van Lenden will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Quintan trying to control the position from guard on top but Van Lenden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Quintan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Lenden swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Van Lenden's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Van Lenden is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Quintan has his hands clasped together but Van Lenden extends and breaks Quintan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Van Lenden.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dirk Van Lenden!
An out of breath Dirk Van Lenden thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
