The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards falls off balance throwing a combination

and Suarez counters with a takedown into side control.
Richards regains half guard, as Suarez was trying to land strikes.

Suarez wants to advance to full mount but Richards doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
