Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wick throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ahmed was covering up waiting for the punch and Wick finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Wick drops back looking for a leg! Ahmed is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ahmed manages to kick Wick off! Wick jumps back into Ahmed's guard.
Ahmed preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wick in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Ahmed utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ahmed is looking for a triangle but Wick pushes his legs off easily.

Wick is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ahmed is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Wick works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Wick maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ahmed could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wick has cracked it and Ahmed is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wick!
