The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dae Ho slips a jab and a cross from McDonnell.
Dae Ho throws a hook to the side of McDonnell's head but McDonnell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McDonnell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Aengus McDonnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDonnell misses with the combination.
McDonnell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dae Ho uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McDonnell.

and Dae Ho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McDonnell's coach down at All Elite Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McDonnell's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
McDonnell gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dae Ho.
McDonnell misses with a looping left.
Dae Ho ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McDonnell moves away.
McDonnell looks to score with a jab to the body but Dae Ho is just out of range.
Dae Ho uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McDonnell.
Dae Ho jabs McDonnell right on the nose. McDonnell blinks but takes it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McDonnell drops Dae Ho with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dae Ho looks back up at him and smiles so McDonnell waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

McDonnell moves in close and cracks Dae Ho with a massive right hand! Dae Ho, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by McDonnell!
