Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Flo Holl!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a leg kick that misses.
Good work by Evans as he checks the leg kick.
Flo Holl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evans misses with a hook.
Evans has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Holl.
A solid leg kick lands there for Holl.
Evans throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A head kick from Holl lands but Evans takes it in his stride.
Holl tries to land a front kick but Evans steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Evans avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Holl displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Evans throws out the jab.

Holl lands a leg kick that knocks Evans off balance momentarily.
Flo Holl is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Holl lands with a straight right. Evans didn't see that one coming.

Holl uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Evans.

We've been told by Evans's head coaches at Rabid Dog that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Evans clobbers Holl with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Holl tries to land a knee to the head but Evans blocks with his arms.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Evans scores with a shot to the side of Holl's head.
Holl pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Evans lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Holl keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Holl is looking to control Evans's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Holl avoid being mounted?
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Flo Holl dominated that round.
That's time! Evans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Holl sizes up Evans with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Evans is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Holl looks to score with a jab to the body but Evans is just out of range.

and Evans counters with a single leg into guard. Holl didn't expect that.

Holl bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Evans's guard.

Holl controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Evans on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Evans tries to get out of the position.
Holl wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving.
Evans wants to sweep but no luck.
Holl looking to sit in guard and control but Evans gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Holl controls Evans momentarily but Evans frees himself.

Evans prevents Holl from getting back to his feet.
Holl is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Holl controls Evans momentarily but Evans frees himself.
Holl is adopting a defensive guard.
Evans is looking to work some ground and pound but Holl has wrist control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Evans engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Evans takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Evans sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Holl gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Evans changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Holl fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Evans misses the shot to the body.
Holl appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Holl wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance.
Evans's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Holl connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Evans scrambles back to his feet.
Evans moves out of range of the body kick from Holl.
Holl lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Holl moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Evans stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Evans swats away the attempt to clinch by Holl.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Evans counters with a nice double leg into side control. Holl won't be happy with that.

Evans lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Holl down.

Evans looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Holl is fending him off so far but Evans persists. Nope, Holl circles away and we're back to standing.
A little jabbing left from Holl on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Evans throws a nice looking combination but Holl bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Evans feints a jab promting Holl to slip. Evans then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Holl slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Evans tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Evans thuds his right hand into Holl's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Holl misses with a kick to the body.
Holl lands a nice looking body kick.
Holl tries to clinch but Evans moves out of range.
Holl throws out a leg kick but Evans moves out of range and Holl only half commits.

Flo Holl seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and Evans decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Holl's guard.
Evans controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Holl throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Evans's head.
Holl fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Evans has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Evans closes this distance looking for a takedown but Holl circles away.
Holl lands a nice looking kick to the body. Evans takes a step back to recover.
Holl throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Evans does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Evans looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Holl moves out of range as Evans strikes.

I would just about give that final round to Flo Holl.
I've got Holl winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
