The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zapina is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Armbrust.
Armbrust with a poor takedown
and Zapina moves into the clinch.
Armbrust takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Brendan Armbrust has been cut.
Armbrust fails to pull guard.
Armbrust looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Zapina gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Zapina lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

That has opened up Brendan Armbrust's cut even more.
Zapina comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Armbrust is rocked!
Armbrust is pressed against the cage. Zapina pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Armbrust! Two more big strikes from Zapina and Armbrust crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
