The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul tests Castilho's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Paul swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Castilho counters with a nice low kick that buckles Paul's knee momentarily.
Paul misses with a few strikes there.
And Castilho responds with a good body kick, but Paul manages to step out the way in time.
Paul throws a combination that misses
and Castilho counters with a slapping leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Paul misses the target.
Castilho doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Paul throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Castilho counter with a right hand.
Paul tries to bum rush Castilho with a series of wild strikes but Castilho uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Paul swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Castilho counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Paul misses with a wild combination.
Paul scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Castilho fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Paul has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Castilho looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Castilho throws an overhand right that drops Paul like a sack of potatoes! Castilho dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
