Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Micah Hawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sterling Bridge!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Bridge.
Bridge throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Hawk to counter with a crisp jab.
Hawk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bridge manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bridge with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hawk connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nice straight punches there by Bridge. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bridge.
Bridge is looking to score with low kicks.
A punch combination from Bridge misses.
Sterling Bridge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bridge throws a wild body kick that Hawk sees coming a mile off.
As Bridge tries to get set, Hawk tries to push him back and clinch up but Bridge manages to avoid the attempt.
Bridge misses with a shot to the body

and Hawk counters with a takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hawk looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bridge tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Hawk easily slips into full mount!
Hawk looking to finish with strikes here!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hawk is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bridge has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Hawk misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Hawk is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hawk extends the arm and Bridge is forced to tap!
