Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anno Bik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Clubber!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bik tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clubber swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bik throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Clubber.
Clubber lands with an uppercut that bounces Bik off the cage and back into range.
Clubber misses the body punch
and Bik counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Clubber throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bik counters with an inside leg kick.

and Bik counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Bik counters with a nice body shot.

and Bik cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Clubber swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
I was talking to Bik's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Clubber turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bik parries the strikes from Clubber easily there. Clubber is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bik to escape.
Bik is looking to regain half guard here but Clubber keeps moving and retains side control.

Bik takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Clubber is looking to take a break and control but Bik is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bik takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bik pushes Clubber away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Clubber gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Clubber lands a decent elbow from side control.
Bik is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Clubber's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Clubber throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clubber working over Bik with some ground and pound. Bik looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Bik is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clubber on the ground.

Clubber tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Clubber can't find room to land a body shot as Bik controls the action.
Bik on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bik scores with a shoulder strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bik throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Clubbers head.
Clubber is rocked!
Bik is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Clubber wants a takedown but no success here.
Bik lands a right hand that snaps the head of Clubber backwards.
Clubber is still on wobbly legs! Can Bik finish him?

Bik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Anno Bik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Clubber.
Bik creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Clubber with a big uppercut! Clubber tries to clinch up but Bik pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Clubber to the mat! Clubber covers up and Bik unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
