Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lidio Noia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Magni Fier!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fier on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Magni Fier has been cut.
Noia lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Noia lands a nice looking body shot.
A swing and a miss from Fier.
Noia throwing a counter right hand but Fier manages to avoid it.
Fier throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Noia counters with a straight right hand.
Fier misses with a body shot
and Noia lands a stunning uppercut that sends Fier to the mat!
Fier is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Noia decides to stand and escape the position.
Noia uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fier.
Fier misses with a looping left.
Fier has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fier bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Noia scoring well with a low kick there.
Fier loads up on a big right hand but Noia slips the punch.
Noia bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Fier! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Fier is still in real trouble! Can Noia finish him?
Noia decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fier backs away from a small jab... but Noia lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Fier crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Noia with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Lidio Noia!
Magni Fier was interviewed post fight and said 'That's the last time i'll be drink bleach...'.
