Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Prince McVicker!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McVicker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McBean to score an easy takedown into full guard.
McVicker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

McBean drops back, looking for a kneebar! McVicker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McVicker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McVicker!

McBean might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McBean is not content to let McVicker control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McVicker swings around for an armbar but McBean sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McVicker's guard.

McBean postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McVicker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McBean, into his guard.

McVicker throws an elbow that misses. McBean uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McVicker's guard. Nice move by McBean!

McVicker wants to sweep but no luck.
McBean passes McVicker's left leg - he's now in half guard.
McBean prevents McVicker from improving his position.
McBean looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

McVicker tries to regain full guard. Instead though, McBean has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
McBean wants to control the pace but McVicker is squirming around nicely.

McBean is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But McVicker has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from McVicker!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McBean looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

A close round but Prince McVicker will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

McVicker is looking to clinch.
McBean uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McVicker.

McBean moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
McBean looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McBean dives in for a single leg takedown but McVicker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, McVicker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
McVicker pushes McBean back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

McVicker lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down McBean.
McVicker tries a body shot but McBean blocks it.
McVicker lands a shoulder strike.
McBean tries to pull guard but McVicker forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
McBean fails to pull the fight into his guard.

McBean closes the distance and clinches up with McVicker, looking for a takedown. McBean pushes McVicker against the cage but McVicker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

McVicker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McBean backs up against the cage.
McVicker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McBean manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McVicker throws a jab but it's blocked by McBean.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Horrible takedown attempt by McBean or perhaps it was just good defense by McVicker, which made it look bad.

McVicker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

McBean drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McVicker dives on top into guard.

The ground and pound from McVicker seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Prince McVicker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McBean thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
McVicker tries to get back to half guard but can't.

McBean is really struggling to control McVicker but he's trying to hold on to the position.

McVicker is trying to escape the position but McBean is controlling the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

McBean fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McVicker sprawls well initially but McBean persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

McVicker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McBean pulls his head out easily.
McVicker has a hand on McBean's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. McBean takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

McBean moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, McVicker has worked his arm free - good work by McVicker!
McVicker tries to bench press McBean off him but McBean keeps the position.

Otto McBean showed his dominance in that final round.
I think McVicker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
