Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Morris (ranked 5716 p4p, 5569 weight class) and Montel Porter (ranked 535 p4p, 529 weight class). Montel Porter struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris misses with a looping right.
Morris punishes Porter's body with a nice straight punch.
The fighters circling - Morris throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Morris lands a body shot.
Morris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Porter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Porter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Porter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Porter showed some decent athleticism there.

Porter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Morris wants to clinch up but Porter keeps it at a distance.

Morris pushes Porter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Morris creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Morris manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Morris looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Porter shoots in for a takedown but Morris shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Porter gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Morris gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
