The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hawk.
Lewis shoots in and bounces Hawk off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lewis sitting in guard here, content to control.
Lewis landing with the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lewis stands up from Hawk's guard - Lewis perhaps looking for a knockout.
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hawk paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lewis throws a leg kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lewis circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lewis counters with a single leg into guard. Hawk didn't expect that.
Hawk is looking to stand back up but Lewis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hawk.
Hawk is trying to control Lewis's posture. Lewis takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Hawk! Lewis is rotating here... this could be the end... Hawk is out! Lewis has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
