PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Beanbag (ranked 4599 p4p, 25331 weight class) and Jay Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick Beanbag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Wall!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall shoots in looking for a takedown but Beanbag manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A shot to the body from Beanbag misses
and Wall counters with a nice uppercut.
Wall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beanbag is fending him off so far but Wall persists. Nope, Beanbag circles away and we're back to standing.
Beanbag appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Beanbag throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wall sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wall dives in and grabs Beanbag's left leg, looking for a takedown. Beanbag pushes down on Wall's head and hops out.
Rick Beanbag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Wall.
Wall throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Beanbag on the side of the head.
Wall throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Beanbag closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wall's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Beanbag defends well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

and Beanbag counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wall!
Beanbag looks up at the clock and then as Wall takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Beanbag smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Wall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beanbag's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Wall is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Beanbag has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

I would just about give that final round to Jay Wall.
