Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hawk Fleximario (ranked 2174 p4p, 1650 weight class) and Max Planck (ranked 301 p4p, 239 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fleximario might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Funkmeister. Hawk Fleximario has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Planck connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Planck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A swing and a miss from Fleximario.
Planck doesn't manage to clinch there - Fleximario circles away.
The crowd cheers as Fleximario lands an impressive looking overhand right. Planck doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Max Planck has been cut.
Planck throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Planck misses with an uppercut
and Planck takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fleximario blocks a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fleximario uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Planck.
Max Planck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Planck lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Planck throws a series of punches but Fleximario moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fleximario sends Planck crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fleximario is motioning to the referee to let Planck up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Planck lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fleximario at a distance.

Fleximario feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Planck sprawling to the canvas! Planck rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fleximario finish him?!

Planck is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Fleximario counters with a huge right that knocks Planck out cold! Fleximario is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
