Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kollaa River (ranked 1143 p4p, 3257 weight class) and Teodors Ozolinsh (ranked 150 p4p, 365 weight class). River comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ozolinsh throws a jab but it's blocked by River.
River defending well as Ozolinsh loads up on a big left hand.
River jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kollaa River seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
River works over Ozolinsh's head and body with a nice combination.

River throws a right hand that Ozolinsh ducks under and follows up with a left that Ozolinsh also avoids with ease.
River moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
River looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Kollaa River has been cut.

Horrible takedown attempt by River or perhaps it was just good defense by Ozolinsh, which made it look bad.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from River lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ozolinsh has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ozolinsh and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

River sets himself, and Ozolinsh steps forward looking for the clinch! River avoids it this time.

That was a close round but I would say that Kollaa River will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

River looks up at the clock and then as Ozolinsh takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, River smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
River has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
