Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Sigursson (ranked 3989 p4p, 5198 weight class) and Chad Boyce (ranked 490 p4p, 573 weight class). Chad Boyce told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyce jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sigursson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sigursson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Boyce throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sigursson counters with a right hand to the body.
Boyce throws a hook to the side of Sigursson's head but Sigursson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boyce rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Sigursson counter with a right hand.
Sigursson throws a lazy right hand but Boyce sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Boyce throws the left hand but Sigursson avoids the punch easily.
Boyce sizes up Sigursson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Boyce tests Sigursson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boyce misses with a straight left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Sigursson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Chad Boyce has been cut.
