Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Ortez!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortez throws a front kick aimed at Rain's knee but Rain avoids it well.
Ortez wants to clinch up but Rain keeps it at a distance.
A punch combination from Ortez misses.
Ortez lands a jab to the head.
Rain takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Rain takes one to the side of the head.
Ortez swinging wilding here.
Ortez shoots in and drives through. Rain sprawls well.

Ortez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rain manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rain avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ortez scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Ortez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Rain keeping moving, preventing Ortez from controlling successfully.

Ortez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ortez looking to sit in guard and control but Rain gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rain is pushing down on Ortez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ortez is fighting to maintain full guard but Rain has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ortez punching from the bottom.
Ortez misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Ortez wants to sweep but Rain has passed to side control!
Ortez looks gassed!

Rain is trying to get an arm triangle but Ortez is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ortez misses with a strike from the bottom.
Ortez looks to move to half guard but instead Rain has passed into mount! Damn!
Ortez tries to hold on but Rain postures up.
Ortez is trying desperately to improve position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rain wants to control the pace but Ortez is squirming around nicely.
Ortez is desperately trying to improve his position but Rain has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rain is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Rain controlling from the full mount.
Ortez regains half guard.
Rain slows the pace down in half guard.
Rain is pressing down on Ortez's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ortez is holding on for now.

Rain passes to full mount!
Ortez is looking to improve his position but Rain isn't that keen on the idea.
Rain tries to control but Ortez wriggling away.
Rain is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ortez can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like Tito Ortez has been cut.
Ortez is trying to reverse the position but instead Rain has taken his back - oops!
Rain controls the action.

Rain not allowing Ortez to control his hands.
I would not like to be Ortez right now.
Rain loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Ortez hold on?
Rain keeps control of the position as Ortez tries to break free.

Rain has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Ortez! Can he survive? No! He's out! Rain gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
