Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Fijam (ranked 4760 p4p, 25320 weight class) and Gaby Dangus (ranked 0 p4p, 691 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that James Fijam has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily James Fijam seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dangus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fijam to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fijam is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fijam stands up over Dangus, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fijam slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Fijam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fijam has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fijam seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dangus for as long as he can get away with.

Fijam decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dangus, up you get!
Fijam dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dangus. That did some damage!

Fijam shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dangus is trying to defend but Fijam finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fijam continues to stall.
Dangus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fijam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fijam in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Dangus tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Fijam!
