PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chuckie Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wellington Juvenal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juvenal has chosen Rage Against The Machine - Killing in the Name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juvenal is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Juvenal throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Liddell lands with an overhand left.
Juvenal wants to clinch up but Liddell keeps it at a distance.

Juvenal doesn't manage to clinch there - Liddell circles away.
Juvenal should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Juvenal just misses with a elbow thrown towards Liddell's brow.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Liddell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
