The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casey works Kalmisto's body with a nice hook.
Kalmisto misses with an uppercut
and Casey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Casey connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
We've been told by Kalmisto's head coaches at FF Forever that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kalmisto stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Kalmisto throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Casey.

It looks like Yellow Belt Casey has been cut.
Kalmisto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Casey manages to avoid it.
Casey scores with a decent looking hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Casey takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Casey. Kalmisto does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kalmisto is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Casey gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Casey tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kalmisto is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Casey buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Casey!! Casey is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kalmisto throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
