The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slow jab from Simunic misses its intended target.
Conway swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Conway uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Simunic.
Antun Simunic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simunic tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Conway is able to avoid easily.
Simunic takes a kick to the side of the head.

Conway uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A cross from Conway lands.
Conway loads up on a big right hand but Simunic slips the punch.
A clash of legs there as Simunic blocks the low kick.
Simunic thinks about countering with a head kick.

Conway moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Simunic throws a leg kick but Conway sees it coming and moves out of range.

Conway lands a big head kick that sends Simunic tumbling to the mat! Conway takes a step backwards and waves Simunic back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Antun Simunic has been cut.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Conway! Simunic is out on his feet! Conway rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Simunic is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Simunic is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
