PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baldur Torsten (ranked 161 p4p, 550 weight class) and Crixus The Gaul (ranked 23 p4p, 77 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Torsten might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Temple of Odin. Baldur Torsten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crixus The Gaul!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Gaul steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Torsten.
The Gaul throws a shot from downtown. Torsten moves away and avoids it.
Torsten tried to score with a low kick but The Gaul checks it.
Torsten swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling The Gaul to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Baldur Torsten has been cut.
The Gaul has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Torsten jabs The Gaul to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Torsten attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Torsten appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Torsten throws a pinpoint strike between The Gaul's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends The Gaul crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Torsten scores a great knockout victory!
