The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looked like Justis was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Oquendo.

Justis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oquendo throws out the jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Oquendo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Justis tries to move into range but Oquendo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Oquendo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Oquendo dances in with a quick combination. Justis is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Oquendo snaps Justis's head back. Justis stumbles backwards against the cage. Oquendo steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Justis's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Justis just didn't come prepared.
