Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Makaio Keone!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimaderery changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Keone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Keone is looking to reverse the position.
Kimaderery thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kimaderery trying to control the action but Keone is working from the bottom.
Keone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kimaderery wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keone manages to get back to half guard.
Keone gets full guard.
Kimaderery wants to stand but Keone has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Kimaderery has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kimaderery is posturing up here but Keone has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kimaderery tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kimaderery has to tap! Slick submission there by Keone!
