The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lobo.
It looked like Anderson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Lobo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Anderson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Anderson and Lobo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Lobo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Anderson, who protects the arm well.

Lobo content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Lobo is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Tim Anderson will probably get the nod.

Anderson feints a jab promting Lobo to slip. Anderson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lobo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Lobo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Lobo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Anderson is looking to get back to his feet here but Lobo is keeping cool and he's managed to take Anderson's back.
Anderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lobo can do to turn this around?

Anderson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lobo momentarily.

Anderson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lobo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Anderson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lobo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anderson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lobo's head backwards.

Anderson lunges at Lobo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lobo's hand.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
