Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San Martin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Khan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maximiliano Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan looks to land a left hand but San Martin moved out of range nicely.

San Martin unleashes a big counter combination but Khan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

San Martin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Khan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Khan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but San Martin has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
San Martin in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Khan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for San Martin on the ground.
San Martin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Khan sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Khan throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

San Martin pushes Khan up against the cage in a clinch.

San Martin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Khan.

San Martin lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Khan throws out a loose jab but San Martin uses good head movement to avoid it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Khan enables San Martin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Khan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Khan manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

San Martin has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Khan is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters circling - Khan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
San Martin is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him?
Khan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
BOOM! Khan lands a beautiful left hook that drops San Martin . San Martin tries to recover but Khan is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and San Martin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maximiliano Khan!
