Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stick Figure Uno (ranked 5061 p4p, 4771 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 249 weight class). The key to victory for Stick Figure Uno has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stick Figure Uno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a takedown
and Figure Uno counters with a straight right hand.

Smith tries to move into range but Figure Uno moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Figure Uno shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Figure Uno scores with a shot to the body.
Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smith drops his hands momentarily and Figure Uno takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Figure Uno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Smith throws a series of punches but Figure Uno avoids them all with ease.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Figure Uno is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Figure Uno circles away and we're back to standing.

Smith takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Figure Uno controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself.

Smith distracts Figure Uno with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Smith wants to control from the top but Figure Uno keeps moving.

Smith winds up and cracks Figure Uno with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Smith takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Figure Uno keeps working.
Smith thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Figure Uno's head.
Figure Uno on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Figure Uno tries to get out of the position.
Smith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Figure Uno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Smith throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Smith landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Smith working over Figure Uno with some ground and pound. Figure Uno looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Figure Uno's temple.
Figure Uno really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Smith looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Smith takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Figure Uno has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Smith is on him like a limpet, forcing Figure Uno back against the cage.
Smith is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Figure Uno pulls him back up using the underhooks.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smith has Figure Uno pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Figure Uno manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Smith wants a takedown.
Figure Uno prevents a takedown attempt there.
Figure Uno lands a right hand.
Figure Uno throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Figure Uno throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Stick Figure Uno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith fails with the takedown.
Figure Uno ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Figure Uno lands with an uppercut that bounces Smith off the cage and back into range.
Figure Uno scores with a jab. Smith acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Figure Uno sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Figure Uno stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Figure Uno was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Figure Uno connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smith's hands.
Smith takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Figure Uno counters with a huge left! Smith is in big trouble! He's backing up but Figure Uno isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Smith from any more damage. A dominating finish by Figure Uno!
