Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shmingles doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mircea connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mircea's corner calls for a 1-2. Mircea obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mircea lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Mircea digs a good body shot into Shmingles's ribs.
Mircea connects with a looping right hand.
We've been informed that Mircea has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Mircea pushes Shmingles away with a front kick.
Mircea lands a big right hand that sends Shmingles crashing to the mat! Mircea stays standing though and waves Shmingles back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mircea sends Shmingles crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mircea is motioning to the referee to let Shmingles up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Shmingles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alexandru Mircea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Mircea engages and cracks Shmingles with a massive lead left hook - Shmingles tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Mircea is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
