Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramsey Woodthorpe (ranked 5968 p4p, 4557 weight class) and James Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders has chosen The Funky Chicken as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Ramsey Woodthorpe has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ramsey Woodthorpe seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodthorpe misses with a head kick.
A little jabbing left from Sanders on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Sanders gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Woodthorpe breaks from the clinch.
Woodthorpe avoids the head kick by Sanders.
Sanders scores with a head kick. Woodthorpe tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Woodthorpe lands with a straight right. Sanders didn't see that one coming.
Woodthorpe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sanders avoids it really well and circles away.
Sanders stalks Woodthorpe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Woodthorpe's face. Woodthorpe staggers backwards, shaken.

Woodthorpe wants to take the fight to the mat but Sanders manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Sanders pushes off an throws an elbow but Woodthorpe leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Sanders dips a shoulder and cracks Woodthorpe with a mighty uppercut! Woodthorpe falls back against the cage and Sanders unloads with a barrage of strikes! Woodthorpe is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sanders screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

A relieved looking James Sanders thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
