Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orn Frostulfsson (ranked 2170 p4p, 2971 weight class) and Kurt Zweihander (ranked 302 p4p, 383 weight class). Kurt Zweihander will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Orn Frostulfsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt Zweihander!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frostulfsson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Zweihander counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Zweihander ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Frostulfsson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Zweihander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Frostulfsson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zweihander counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Zweihander misses with a left hand
and Frostulfsson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Frostulfsson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Frostulfsson throwing a counter right hand but Zweihander manages to avoid it.
Zweihander smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zweihander throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Frostulfsson.
Zweihander throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Frostulfsson on the side of the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Frostulfsson defending well as Zweihander loads up on a big left hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zweihander lands a nice hook to Frostulfsson's body. Frostulfsson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Zweihander takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Frostulfsson throws the left hand but Zweihander avoids the punch easily.
Frostulfsson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Frostulfsson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Frostulfsson cracks Zweihander with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Zweihander throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Frostulfsson misses with an uppercut
and Zweihander connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Frostulfsson throws a right hand that misses
and Zweihander counters with a stiff right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zweihander scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frostulfsson moves away from the strike by Zweihander.
Frostulfsson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zweihander counters with a straight right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zweihander. Frostulfsson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Zweihander feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Frostulfsson sprawling to the canvas! Frostulfsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Zweihander finish him?!
Zweihander plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Frostulfsson swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Frostulfsson face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kurt Zweihander!
