Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Banito Gianni (ranked 1725 p4p, 4181 weight class) and Island Paradise (ranked 250 p4p, 508 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gianni stuffs the takedown.
A little feinted left hand from Gianni on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Gianni lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Paradise shoots in for a double leg but Gianni sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Paradise takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gianni misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Paradise.
Gianni staying out of range there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Paradise looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gianni tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Paradise is able to avoid easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gianni throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Gianni definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Gianni drops Paradise onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Paradise is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gianni creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Paradise's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Paradise drops to his knees and Gianni pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
