Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maurycy Smolka (ranked 3137 p4p, 24441 weight class) and Jay Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Steven told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steven shoots in for a takedown but Smolka shows good takedown defense.
Smolka wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Smolka really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Smolka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steven circles away quickly and effectively.
Steven shoots in looking for a takedown but Smolka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Steven's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Smolka drives through and clinches with Steven against the cage.
Smolka tries to pull guard but Steven won't allow it.
Smolka tries to circle away but Steven has him pinned against the cage.
Steven stops a takedown attempt from Smolka.
Smolka is looking for a takedown.
