Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabriel Lauzier!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez lands a nice shot that snaps Lauzier's head back.
It looks like Gabriel Lauzier has been cut.
Lauzier throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Alvarez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Alvarez lands a lovely overhand right.
Alvarez looks to land a combination but Lauzier avoids it well.
Lauzier shoots in looking for a takedown. Alvarez tries to sprawl out of it but Lauzier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alvarez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Alvarez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lauzier momentarily.

Oooooh!!! Alvarez has knocked Lauzier down with a huge combo! Alvarez steps away and waves a wobbly Lauzier back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Lauzier leaves his chin hanging out and Alvarez seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lauzier crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
