Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kick Boxer (ranked 4178 p4p, 4717 weight class) and Erick Mora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kick Boxer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erick Mora! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mora tries for a takedown but Boxer circles away easily and Boxer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mora shoots in but Boxer avoids the takedown attempt easily. Boxer appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Mora misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kick Boxer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Mora. Mora moves out of range of the strikes. Boxer works Mora's body with a nice hook. Boxer connects with the punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boxer misses the shot to the body. Mora is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mora wants to clinch but Boxer slips to the side and Boxer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mora shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Boxer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boxer swings for the body but Mora moves out of range.
Mora darts in trying to clinch and Boxer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Boxer circles away from the clinch attempt and Mora takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mora throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boxer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mora fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A little feinted left hand from Boxer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Mora throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Boxer. Mora looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mora tries to clinch up and Boxer counters with a nice uppercut. Boxer thuds a left hand into Mora's body. Boxer lands a nice looking body shot.
Boxer misses with a straight right. Erick Mora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jab from Boxer. Boxer misses with an uppercut. Mora saw that one coming. Kick Boxer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Boxer lands a slapping body shot.
Mora tries to move into range but Boxer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Boxer throws an overhand right that lands on Mora's shoulder, as Mora tries to avoid the shot. Boxer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mora looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boxer lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Mora falls backwards - clearly groggy! Boxer dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kick Boxer!
