Stephenson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Nastula!
Stephenson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Nastula down.

Nastula wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stephenson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Nastula is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nastula tries to improve position but can't.

Nastula really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stephenson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stephenson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nastula keeps working.

Stephenson is looking to take a break and control but Nastula is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stephenson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nastula is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Stephenson yanks on the arm and Nastula is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Stephenson.
