The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Way throws a right hand that Ford ducks under and follows up with a left that Ford also avoids with ease.
Way misses with an uppercut
and Ford counters with a nice uppercut.
Ford throws a head kick that misses.
Way is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Ford avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Way dips to his left and cracks Ford with an uppercut!
Way misses with a right hand
and Ford counters with a left to the body.
Ford is looking to clinch.
Ford throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Way stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ford slips a jab and a cross from Way.

Ford has Way up against the cage in a clinch.
Ford throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Way blocks it with crossed arms.

Way breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ford.
A shot to the liver by Ford. Beautiful body shot.
Ford closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like No Way has been cut.
Way moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ford scoring well with a low kick there.
Way throws a series of punches but Ford moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Way throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ford's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Way connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ford scrambles back to his feet.
Ford connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Way takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ford punishes Way's body with a nice straight punch.
A jab from Way misses.
Ford moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Way is rocked!

Way has taken the fight to the clinch.
Way is still on wobbly legs! Can Ford finish him?
Ford lands a hook that snaps the head of Way backwards.
Ford lands a big knee to the head and Way goes down! Ford pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ed Ford!
