Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Baekjae Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milan Gusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is CANON in D Korean Version (with gayageum) . Gusa has chosen Ludacris - Move Bitch as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Baekjae Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Milan Gusa! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gusa tries to close the distance and clinch but Kim swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gusa throws a lazy right hand but Kim sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gusa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kim paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gusa thuds his shin into the meat of Kim's side. Kim on the wrong end of a nice hook. Gusa is looking to clinch. Gusa tries to clinch up. Gusa is looking to clinch. Kim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gusa wants to clinch. Kim keeps the fight on the outside. Gusa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gusa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kim swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gusa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kim paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gusa lands with a kick to the temple. Kim shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Gusa scores a takedown into full mount! Gusa throwing strikes but Kim uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Gusa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kim works his way to full guard. Good work. Kim might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gusa won't allow Kim to sweep him here. Gusa is looking to stand up but Kim won't let him. Gusa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kim trying to strike off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gusa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kim wants to sweep here but Gusa controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gusa passes Kim's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kim looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kim wants to get back to full guard. Kim controlling the position well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gusa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gusa's back! Kim tries to get the hooks in deep but Gusa pushed the leg off. I really don't envy Gusa right now.
Gusa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kim has good solid back control here. Kim cracks Gusa with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Gusa from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kim tries to keep control of the position but Gusa is staying busy. Kim has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Gusa. Kim landing with strikes. Kim is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Gusa is defending well though. Kim let's go of the attempt for now. Kim trying to control. Kim is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gusa has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kim throwing damaging strikes from the back! Gusa could be in trouble here!

A close round but Milan Gusa will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gusa tries to clinch there but Kim circles away.
Gusa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kim but Kim pushes him off and we're back to square one. A head kick misses from Gusa. Kim dodges the punch combination from Gusa.
Gusa moves in looking to clinch but Kim pushes him off. Kim closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gusa wants to break free but Kim has control.
Kim doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Gusa is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Gusa wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kim has him pressed against the cage. Gusa goes for a takedown attempt but Kim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Baekjae Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milan Gusa. Kim shoots in looking for a takedown. Gusa tries to sprawl out of it but Kim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gusa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gusa is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim is looking to clinch. Kim gets a takedown into half guard. Kim seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Kim looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kim is working for a submission of some sort.
Kim passes the guard and advances to mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim scores with a couple of good head shots there.
A nice elbow there by Kim. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kim working the ground and pound effectively.
Kim cracks Gusa with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim trying to control but Gusa is having none of it. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kim cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kim with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kim controlling the pace for now. A nice elbow there by Kim.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
A nice elbow there by Kim. Baekjae Kim overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kim lands a big elbow. Kim trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gusa is controlling an arm, preventing Kim from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gusa is bucking up trying to escape but Kim cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Kim landing shots from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Baekjae Kim dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kim scores with a takedown into Gusa's guard. Kim is pushing down on Gusa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gusa is fighting to maintain full guard but Kim has managed to sneak the leg through. Kim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gusa keeps working. Gusa wants to get back to his feet. Kim seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gusa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kim landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Gusa desperately trying to maintain half guard. Gusa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kim slips a nice elbow through Gusa's hands, connecting with Gusa's forehead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kim is looking to take a break and control but Gusa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gusa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kim stalling away here and it's allowed Gusa to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Kim with a nice head shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kim sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gusa's guard. Kim lands strikes from half guard. Kim trying to control from half guard but Gusa is working away. Well, if Kim is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kim seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gusa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kim passes to side control. Kim in side control, just content to control the action for now. Kim is looking to take a break and control but Gusa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Baekjae Kim just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Gusa clinches but Kim breaks the clinch letting Kim counter with a right hand. Baekjae Kim is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gusa throws a body punch but Kim moves out of range. Gusa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kim counters with a straight right hand. Kim scores with a push kick. Kim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kim controlling the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Baekjae Kim showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kim has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
