Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Zaire (ranked 703 p4p, 1717 weight class) and Magni Fier (ranked 95 p4p, 230 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abdullah Zaire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Magni Fier!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaire keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fier.
Fier throws out a loose jab but Zaire uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fier thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fier lands a nice shot to the body.
Zaire slips a jab from Fier.
Zaire fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fier avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fier avoids the head kick by Zaire.

Zaire was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Magni Fier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zaire cracks Fier with a right hand to the side of the head.
Zaire tried to score with a low kick but Fier checks it.

We've been hearing that Zaire has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Zaire is looking to work some ground and pound but Fier has wrist control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fier can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zaire. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zaire is in close to Fier's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zaire accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zaire drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Zaire seems to have locked his on tight now - Fier screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Zaire, as he picks up the win!
