Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Razor Ramano (ranked 970 p4p, 2098 weight class) and Sammy Nyla (ranked 130 p4p, 246 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nyla has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Nyla might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Ramano fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nyla on the side of the head.

Nyla throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ramano stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ramano takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Razor Ramano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nyla misses the jab.

and Nyla connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ramano tries to bum rush Nyla with a series of wild strikes but Nyla uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close round but I would say that Razor Ramano will probably get the nod.

Nyla feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ramano sprawling to the canvas! Ramano rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nyla finish him?!

and Nyla counters with a big right hand! Oh Ramano is in trouble here! Nyla follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
